Moab trip highlights

It's always nice to see Mom and Dad, especially when they live in one of the most beautiful places on earth! This pic was taken in their front yard!
We had a great time going out 4x4ing! I took shot off a cliff in Fins and things we were about to drive off! This trail is only rated a 4/9 but I thought it was pretty intense!
We of coarse made it into the always beautiful Arches.
This is a great shot Nathan took of an overview of Castle Valley. Can you find the cow in this pic? hehe

I believe that I took this pic on the Onion Creek Trail. I though it looked like a gorilla, it's got a hole for an eye and he is sitting proud on his pedistal, it even has toes!
We went so many great places and saw so many gorgious sites and yet we left so much out, so we can't wait to go back! I think Nathan and I agree that rafting on the Colorado river was the best part of the trip. I have the site listed in Links so you can go see some picture of us all rafting, The first pic is us gettin soaked! Thanks for a great trip Mom and Dad!!! (Look for a post from Nathan next!)

Utah Trip - Day One

So for the last few days Nathan and I have been up in Castle Valley, Ut visiting my parents. Nathan and I agree it was one of the best vacations we've ever been on.. and we were somewhat sick half the time. (which seems to have passed now that we're home. yay.) Anywho, so this is a shot we took coming into Monument Valley, we though it looked like a hand giving a peace sign. :)
This is a quick shot of the Mexican Hat. Nathan and I were finally enjoying the scenery and yet we had no idea what my parents had in store for us!
I wasn't feelin' so hot when we got there so Dad just took Nathan out onto Hell's Revenge! It's a 4x4 trail rated 6/9.
They had a great time on the trail until they broke the rear axle, but Nathan enjoyed working in the garage with dad to fix it.
The crazy cliffs off Hell's Revenge. No way i'm going up there....

Zeus

Nathan had the day off and decided he could no longer risist the urge of getting a puppy, so here's Zues!! As you can see it's bath time :)
Nathan is already very attached and I have to say he's a pretty cute lilttle bugger. He's a Jack Russel Terrier mix.
The cats are not fond of him so far and have set up camp in the compter room for now.
Tootsie love's him :)

Nathan's Birthday!!!

Yesterday was Nathan's birthday so we had his family come over for lunch. They took us out to Steamer's Seafood, I had an amazing strawberry salad while they all enjoyed their seafood. After lunch we returned home so he could play on his new toy (we got him an xbox360) which he really seems to enjoy. :) I had made evening reservations for us at the Melting Pot (we couldn't help but to go back, it is sooo good!) where I got us a private booth with a curtain! We had another incredible meal served by the same friendly waiter as last time, so it was another great expirience. We hit a late movie after dinner and didn't get home till midnight, it was a great day for us. Well I have no pics from yesterday but here is a couple pics from camping of the hansom birthday boy, he's now 23!

Camping

Last week sun-tues Nathan, his brother Cameron, his sister Shannon, Tootsie and I went camping.
We stayed at Bear Canyon Lake which is near Payson.
It was so much fun that this week, since Nathan had the same days off, he and I would go again. We stayed over at Kohl Lake for our second night, it is a nicer lake and we found the perfect spot to camp! It was so nice I could have stayed forever, it even rained a little, but it was welcome.

It's hot...

Sorry its been a while it's just so hot outside. So I haven't been out much, but over the 4th of July, Nathan went camping up north with his family. They went up to Bear Canyon Lake to go fishing.
We are planing on a short camping trip near the end of this month where I actually get to go, so hopefully I will have some pictures that I actually took.
