Then it was off to the shooting range, Nathan's choice. It was weird I'm not really a fan of guns, but I shot one anyway, a 9mm. Nathan had a blast and so he was fun to watch. He shot 2 guns a 45mm and a PS90, the one in his hand.
His target looked like Osama bin Laden, he has it up on our wall, for now.
After the shooting range we stoped off for a few groceries. Once we got home we got cleaned up for dinner. This is Punkin', Just sitting in the shower after I just got out.
Our delicous dinner was at The Melting Pot, in Scottsdale. We chose the Cheddar Cheese Fondue which was mixed and melted right in front of us. It came with 3 differt breads, apple slices, and mixed vegi's, it was hard to quit eating but we still had a lot ahead of us. Our salads came next. I had the House Salad which had the greatest sweet and tangy dressing. Nathan had the Spinach Mushroom Salad which he really enjoyed. Our Entree for Two was fabulous! We chose their Pacific Rim which had teriyaki-marinated sirloin, white shrimp, marinated pork tenderloin, breast of duck, breast of chicken and potstickers. I loved this one because I ate everything but the sirloin! All this meat is brought to the table raw with a few fresh vegi's on the side. Your cheese is taken away and you choose the cooking style for you meats. We chose the Mojo Style which was caribbean-seasoned bouillon with fresh garlic and citrus added right in front of us. Got to love how fresh everything is. Everything has to cook for about 1 1/2-2 minutes and then you had to choose which of the 8 or so sauces they brought out to dip it all in. So many choices, all so delicious, but they do save the best for last.
For dessert we chose their Smores Fondue which was once again mixed in front us but then lit on fire! Nice touch. (Dad, they have one called Flaming Turtle, yum huh?) As you can see we had lots of choices of Dippers too. This Resturant is worth every penny, though if it was cheaper or we were rich, we'd be there everyday.
