It's Christmas!!

Christmas eve we went out to Surprise, AZ and spent the afternoon with Nathan's family at his Grandmothers house. She was very sweet and reminded me of my Grandma Tenney so much. Christmas day we spent Nathan's parents' house but I didn't get any pics there because I wasn't feeling so swell x-mas morning.
As you can see me and Nathan made out like bandits this Christmas! This isn't even all we got :) We got some great new glasses, clothes and lots of other goodies. (I even got my own bottle of Cracker Barrel syrup with pancake mix!)
So anyone that knows me knows I have an oddsized collection. This GIANT rice crispy treat is a great addition given to me by Nathan. We decided that Tootsie would be a good size comparison, the cats just got curious :)
Even though we got the cats new toys for Christmas, I think they liked our boxes even more!
Well so I know we had a good Christmas and I hope everyone else did too and I hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Holiday Happenings

I had made Thumbprint cookies, Peanut butter fudge, fudgy oatmeal drop cookies, and double chocolate brownies (with nuts) but they dissapeared quickly. I thought I got a picture but I guess not. So I have started again but with new cookies. So far only candy cane cookies and sugar cookies but i'll have more by Christmas.
So after making all these cookies and having them all disapear so quickly I was worried where they were all going. We thought our troubles were over when Tootsie found Cookie Monster... and yet the cookies still keep dissapearing. I hope I can keep up with the demand of family and co-workers.

It has been cold and even wet at times here. It's down in the 60's now! Brrr, but Grandma's cocoa and a few of mom's dessert recipes have been keeping us warm. :)
Tootsie loves her yard and her freedom of roaming the whole house.
Our Kitties love the new place too and have been extra cuddly since it has gotten cooler out. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. Reid and Melissa, enjoy Arkansas, I hope all your travels are safe and smooth and you guy have a wonderful Christmas. Mom and Dad, I hope you are enjoying your new place and your winter snow.

A smooth move

So I want to Start off by saying Happy Holidays! We are almost completely settled into our new place. Wednesday we went and got a real Douglas Fir tree from the Home Depot just around the corner from us. So far Tootsie is the only thing under the tree and the only thing that could have made this cuter is if she had her santa hat on.

This is our living room which now looks like a real living room thanks to my Parents. They gave us these super comfortable couches as early Christmas presents. We got them on Monday. We got most of the moving done on Saturday. I did a little on my own Friday but not much because it was pouring rain :( It rained off and on Saturday while we moved but not as bad. It went quick and easy thanks to Nathan's dad with his truck and Nathan's little brother and sister.
This is kind of blurry but I got the Salt & Pepper Shakers up and the stockings are hung. We got the cute little dining table from Nathan's grandparents and as you see we've cluttered it with Christmas.

Our Landlord painted the kitchen, though we need to fix it. It is a perfect sized kithen for us, and we love cooking in it but soon I have to get started on my Christmas cookies! Hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Hope to see you soon Mom & Dad. Hope the weather gets better up in Seattle, Wa for My Brother and his wife. Oh and give me ideas for Christmas presents please!
