It's Christmas!!

Christmas eve we went out to Surprise, AZ and spent the afternoon with Nathan's family at his Grandmothers house. She was very sweet and reminded me of my Grandma Tenney so much. Christmas day we spent Nathan's parents' house but I didn't get any pics there because I wasn't feeling so swell x-mas morning.
As you can see me and Nathan made out like bandits this Christmas! This isn't even all we got :) We got some great new glasses, clothes and lots of other goodies. (I even got my own bottle of Cracker Barrel syrup with pancake mix!)
So anyone that knows me knows I have an oddsized collection. This GIANT rice crispy treat is a great addition given to me by Nathan. We decided that Tootsie would be a good size comparison, the cats just got curious :)
Even though we got the cats new toys for Christmas, I think they liked our boxes even more!
Well so I know we had a good Christmas and I hope everyone else did too and I hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Holiday Happenings

I had made Thumbprint cookies, Peanut butter fudge, fudgy oatmeal drop cookies, and double chocolate brownies (with nuts) but they dissapeared quickly. I thought I got a picture but I guess not. So I have started again but with new cookies. So far only candy cane cookies and sugar cookies but i'll have more by Christmas.
So after making all these cookies and having them all disapear so quickly I was worried where they were all going. We thought our troubles were over when Tootsie found Cookie Monster... and yet the cookies still keep dissapearing. I hope I can keep up with the demand of family and co-workers.

It has been cold and even wet at times here. It's down in the 60's now! Brrr, but Grandma's cocoa and a few of mom's dessert recipes have been keeping us warm. :)
Tootsie loves her yard and her freedom of roaming the whole house.
Our Kitties love the new place too and have been extra cuddly since it has gotten cooler out. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season. Reid and Melissa, enjoy Arkansas, I hope all your travels are safe and smooth and you guy have a wonderful Christmas. Mom and Dad, I hope you are enjoying your new place and your winter snow.

A smooth move

So I want to Start off by saying Happy Holidays! We are almost completely settled into our new place. Wednesday we went and got a real Douglas Fir tree from the Home Depot just around the corner from us. So far Tootsie is the only thing under the tree and the only thing that could have made this cuter is if she had her santa hat on.

This is our living room which now looks like a real living room thanks to my Parents. They gave us these super comfortable couches as early Christmas presents. We got them on Monday. We got most of the moving done on Saturday. I did a little on my own Friday but not much because it was pouring rain :( It rained off and on Saturday while we moved but not as bad. It went quick and easy thanks to Nathan's dad with his truck and Nathan's little brother and sister.
This is kind of blurry but I got the Salt & Pepper Shakers up and the stockings are hung. We got the cute little dining table from Nathan's grandparents and as you see we've cluttered it with Christmas.

Our Landlord painted the kitchen, though we need to fix it. It is a perfect sized kithen for us, and we love cooking in it but soon I have to get started on my Christmas cookies! Hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Hope to see you soon Mom & Dad. Hope the weather gets better up in Seattle, Wa for My Brother and his wife. Oh and give me ideas for Christmas presents please!

Everybody Move!

So first my parents get their gorgious dream house built in Castle Valley, Utah. Then My brother and his wife go and move into a nice house in Seattle, Wa. So in all our jealousy we started looking into getting out of our lease and found out it was easier then we thought. So we have been searching and we think we have our place. It's a cute 2bd 2bth condominium home.
This is the nice clean kitchen.

There are 2 good sized bedrooms with a nice walk in closet in each! The master bedroom even has it's own bathroom.

Can't wait to to see if we get it. It's in a nice area with lots of good stuff near by.

My cool camera

So thanks to getting the internet and my totally cool Kodak EasyShareC743 from my brother, for my birthday (Thanks Reid!!!) I have created... blog! Well my blog anyway :) So I haven't perfected the camera, but I still like to try to figure it out all I can do with it! So to show off some of what I have figured out I will show off some of my greatest pics and almost all my best pics are of my pets! So meet my furry family!

To the left is Punkin', he is my baby! He gives kisses and always cuddles right by me when i'm sleeping or lounging around. He is always in a cute pose for the camera, as you can see! He thinks he is the dominant and always picks on Tootsie and the other cats.

Trinket, my pretty kitty, always sleep in odd poses and places as you can see below. All the cats seem to be attracted to laundry baskets for some reason.

Above you see Tootsie, the only dog in this land of kitties. She actually held this pose for a while so I could take the picture. I'm not sure how I got her to stay, but I got the picture to prove it happend! It is a little fuzzy.. but she's still cute. She is the biggest trouble maker in the house and yet she gets the most treats.. how is that fair?

Last but not least we have Rem, Nathan's cat and the still being debated possibly mom-to-be? She is a very quirky little kitty, she loves to bat around anything she can find and always looks adorable when she sleeps.

My Day Out

Today I took Tootsie over to Chaparrel Park for a nice walk around the water. There weren't too many people there to distract her, I even got her to sit still long enough to take a few pics of the park but never long enough to get her in the shot. Not bad for a park in the city huh?

I didn't make it to where I wanted to for sunset but I still think our sky is pretty at sunset.

My day today

Today was a very busy day for me. I came in and had 6 massages, that's me booked solid my whole shift 8-4:30, with a lunch of course. So in between massages I was asked to work late tomorrow, possibly past normal close. I of course agreed as long as I get massages. :) Then after another massage I was asked to work friday becuse there is a group coming in and no one will stay for more massages.. and again I agreed because I like working.. Then I was on my second to last massage.. or so I thought, when a co-worker asked if I would stay later to give one more becuse I'm the only one there today who will stay around for more.. So I had 7 massages today, so far there are 5 on the books for tomorrow and I'm on next Fri with a group and I work sat. and sun. So my financial future is lookin' a little bit better :) .... I hope i'm getting credit for all this... though Sarah, one of the manages, said I was her favorite after asking me for the 2nd favor. Hehe. Well not much else is happening... I was gunna post a more recent pic of Rem, the pregnant kitty, but blogger said it couldn't do it right now... sad. Maybe later?

Uh oh!

Well everyone, I'd like you to meet Rem. She is Nathan's pretty kitty and also an expecting mom!! This is kinda upsetting news cuz we don't need more kitties around... but it seems we have to now. Oh well, kittens are fun! ^_^ So this picture is a little old. She's got a bigger tummy now and showing pregnancy signs... you don't want to know. . So soon enough we will have kittens! Me and Nathan figure we will probably end up keeping one and his little brother is adopting one.. but if there are others I'm not sure what we will do.
Other then that we have no other exciting news. It has been a slow week at work for me and Nathan has been working his usual. I can't wait for the season to start.

I'm here!

Look Ma I made it myself :) A blog of my very own! So things are going well. I've been house sitting for a lady from work but had to come home for a day to get our internet before someone else found it. After hours of Nathan working hard downloading everything we are now fully functional!
It has been wonderful weather lately... in the mid 80's. Good weather for swimming and eating outside! This next week Melinda, Nathan and I hope to make it to the fair, we are scrouging up paychecks. ;) I like all the rides!
Well as soon as I can figure out how to get pics on here i'll post 'em!

TTFN!
Ta Ta For Now!
